Switching LP

What is LP?

Lp tokens are a receipt of liquidity. Owning them verifies that you have provided liquidity to a certain protocol. Once you own LP tokens you can exchange them for the liquidity that you provided originally. For example:

You provide 100 USD and equivalent amounts of bitcoin. The DEX protocol will take your funds and will give you a receipt to get those funds back whenever you would like. Typically you would then stake these receipts and earn additional rewards from them.

With the launch of TendieDEX there is no longer a need to use Pancakeswap as a liquidity provider. Now we will move liquidity to TendieDEX so that the community can benefit from more sweet Tendie Rewards. This article will guide you on how to switch your LP so that you can get in on more Tendie rewards!

To migrate liquidity you would need to:

Unstake your LP tokens from https://app.tendieswap.org/#/farms

and click the confirmation in your wallet.

Go to Pancakeswap and exchange your LP tokens for the two tokens you provided. (find your Liquidity pair and click on the remove button)

Then select “Max”, approve the transaction by signing in your wallet, then click remove and approve in your wallet.

The coins will appear in your wallet.

Next, go TendieDEX and go to the liquidity tab (https://exchange.tendieswap.org/#/pool). Enter the tokens that you would like to provide and approve them. Click add liquidity and confirm the transaction.

Stake the new LP tokens in the new pools of TendieSwap https://app.tendieswap.org/#/farms. You will have to enable these farms because they are new farms.

Now what? Sit on your harvest or add more liquidity to maximize those APY!
